Aims and Objectives
2. To promote sympathy, fellow-feeling and unity among the followers of the different faith so as to evolve a sense of social and religious toleration.
3. To arrange and organize lectures, debates, discussion, seminars, & excursions for the diffusion of knowledge.
4. To study, cultivate and demonstrate the art of music and dancing.
5. To publish or cause to be published usefull literatures, papers, magazines, books etc. Without profit motive.
6. To help the needy students of all communities for the prosecution of studies.
7. To collect and preserve manuscripts, painting sculptures, works of art, antiquities natural history specimens, mechanical and scientific instruments and designs.
8. To help the aged, sick, helpless and indigent persons.
9. To engage and assist in such other philanthropic activities as may be deemed appropriate by the governing Body of the Society.
10. To construct, maintain, improve, develop and alter any buildings, houses or other works necessary or convenient for the use of Society.
11. To open charitable dispensaries, blood donation camp and to prevent pollution etc.
12. To do all social welfare activities in the localities for the welfare of the people.
13. To do all such acts, deeds, matters and things as may be deemed incidental or conducive to the foregoing objects.
The functions and object of the society shall always remain restricted within the meaning of section 4(2) of the West Bengal Society Registration Act, 91 irrespective of any object as mentioned in the present document or opposed to the said section.
The incomes and properties of the Society whatsoever derived or obtained shall be applied solely towards the promotion of the objects of the Society and no portion thereof shall be paid to or divided amongst any of its members by way of profit.
